Sarah Lund sweater pattern, Forbrydelsen series 3.
HJERTEGARN pattern for lady's sweater with chevron striped design, knitted in the round with Incawool in 2 shades and a contrasting texture Play It. As worn by detective Sarah Lund in the Danish TV series 'The Killing', series 3, soon to be seen on the BBC.

Yarn:
Incawool, 100 % wool
and Play It, 50% mohair/50% acrylic
[Alternative: Ragg sock wool, 70 % wool, 30% nylon. Take care to allow enough yarn when substituting yarns, the ball length may not be the same and it may also be necessary to alter the size of needles used.]
Sizes: S (M) L (XL)
Garment bust measurement: 90 (98) 106 (115) cm
Length: 67 cm
You will need:
Colour 1: Play It shade 0075 (cream): 2 (2) 3 (3) x 50 g
Colour 2: Incawool shade 284 (oatmeal) or 401 (pale grey): 3 (3) 3 (4) x 100 g
Colour 3: Incawool shade 1203 (dark brown) or 500 (black): 1 x 100g all sizes
Needles: 6mm and 7mm straight and circular needles.
N.B. Colour 1, Play It is knitted on 6mm needles!
Tension: 14 sts and 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm (over stocking stitch, with 6mm needles)
Note: Please ensure that you check your tension: adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the specified
tension.
